ATGC Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd (ATGC) was established by a group of experts having long experiences in biomedical research in the areas of genetics, genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, computational biology and related areas.
This program is designed to prepare the students for various international PhD programs. The course is tailored to develop aptitude for asking research questions, analyze experimental results and database analysis. Under this program students will carry out project work with a specific research question. Through the project work students will learn techniques related to molecular and cell biology, immunology, protein purification, and analysis. They will learn bioinformatic analyses of genomic and proteomic data. Students will be taught how to write good letters, motivation statements, resumes, good presentations, and scientific papers.
This program is designed to prepare students for jobs in biotechnology companies. The course is tailored to develop skill for various biological assays and their validation. Through the project work students will learn bacteriological techniques, molecular and cell biology techniques, immunological techniques, protein purification and analysis, gene expression analysis. They will learn bioinformatic analysis of genomic and proteomic data. They will be taught skills to perform better in interviews and presentations.
The course is designed to equip the clinicians with the knowledge of precision medicine. Future of medicine is precision medicine. It integrates the knowledge of clinical observations, evidence-based indications, and clinical databases to tailor the diagnosis and treatment regimen for a specific patient. The course will enlighten clinicians with various molecular profiling knowledge, molecular and clinical databases and ML/AI based algorithms to integrate this knowledge.
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is the technique of choice in many research and diagnostic assays. It is the method of choice to detect and estimate gene expression, DNA-protein interaction, molecular cloning, and many others. The course is designed to teach students with principles of various PCR applications as well as troubleshooting. They will acquire the skill of PCR by performing various hands-on experiments.
Basic molecular biology techniques are the foundation of many biological experiments and biotechnological/clinical applications. The course will provide hands-on training on DNA, RNA, and protein isolation, plasmid DNA isolation, agarose and PAGE gel electrophoresis, restriction enzyme analysis, sub-cloning techniques etc.
Plethora of omics databases have provided great opportunities for building functional, structural, and clinical models to be validated by experimental analysis. This course will train students the use various bioinformatic tools to build those models.
The powerful next generation DNA and RNA sequencing technology is transforming the concepts in biology in an unprecedented manner. The course will train the students in cleaning raw sequence reads, alignment of sequencing reads, variance calling, gene expression analysis, ChiP-DNA sequencing data analysis, DNA methylation data analysis and many other applications of the NGS technology.
