Mission Statement
ATGC aims “TO DEVELOP AND ADAPT new generations of molecular diagnostics, particularly gene- based diagnostics, for Indian populations and act as a provider of new generation molecular diagnostic services”, we are committed to solving the clinical roadblocks through directed genetics/genomics research and services. Our vision is to support our Research and Innovation ideas through various government and non-government grants available and thus make a difference in the field of clinical genetics/genomics services.
Company Profile
In the last two decades, our understanding of the human genome has changed the way medicine is practiced today. Notwithstanding that impact, a deeper understanding of the genome awaits us which would revolutionize medicine in the near future. ATGC was founded on the anticipation that such a profound understanding of the human genome would change the way we diagnose diseases and guide their therapies. ATGC was envisioned to be a knowledge-based company dedicated to translating this newer understanding of the human genome. The focus is on a patient-centric approach and prevalent diseases in our country.
Foundation
ATGC Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd (ATGC) was established by a group of experts having long experiences in biomedical research, and teaching including course design in genetics, genomics, proteomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, computational biology, chemical and structural biology, and related areas. ATGC is actively advised by a group of practicing clinicians who are pioneers in their respective fields. The team arguably constitutes the best in the Eastern part of India and perhaps one of the best in the country.
