Prof. Asoke K Talukder, Ph.D. is an entrepreneur, author, researcher, and educationist. He is a Shareholder of ATGC diagnostics. He did M.Sc in Physics and Ph.D in Computer Science. He is the recipient of the 2017 Govt of Karnataka BioExcellence Award for outstanding contribution to Bio-IT and Genomics. His domain knowledge ranges from computer to cancer, and mathematics to metastasis. He innovated technologies for companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Informix, Digital, Fujitsu-ICL, Hewlett Packard, Northern Telecom, NEC, etc. His current goal is to reduce the disease burden of cancer and other non-communicable diseases by reducing the genesis to onset time and predictability of disease. He is a co-founder of Vibrant Health Sciences, and Precision Genomics – companies in big-data health sciences that build mathematical models for biology and medicine. In previous avatars, he co-founded CellNext in 2000, the game changer and first-of-its-kind company in mobile computing. He co-founded InterpretOmics in 2008, the big-data genomics company engaged in Genomics and Systems Biology. He authored many technical papers and books. Two of his books are translated into Chinese. He is the recipient of many national and international awards. He has been listed in “Who’s Who in the World”, “Who’s Who in Science and Engineering”, and “Outstanding Scientists of the 21st Century”
